To be in with a chance to win, you can refer a friend to the Swilly Mulroy Credit Union. You just need to be a member already, and your friend must keep the account open for at least 3 months.

A friend can be a family member or colleague. You can refer as many people as you like.

All members who refer a friend to become a member are entered into a draw together with their friend. The draw will be held every 3 months in 2024.

How do I refer someone as a new member?

There are several ways to refer a friend:

• Ask your friend to provide your name when applying to become a member.
• Collect the Refer a Friend cards from your local Credit Union office and pass it to your friend.
• If you become a new member, then you will be given your own Refer a Friend card after you open an account.

Terms and conditions for the draw

A. Person who is referring the friend:

1. must be an existing member.
2. must have the account still open 3 months after the new member has joined.

B. Person who is being referred (that is, the new member):

1. Must complete the membership application and open an account
2. Maintain account for at least 3 months from when the account of the new member is opened.

Conditions A and B above must be met for both persons to be entered into the draw. While both parties are entered in the draw, there is only one winner.

All members who meet the terms and conditions for the previous 3 months will be entered into the draw.

The winner will be notified and the prize lodged to the member's savings account within 1 week of the draw taking place. The winners name will also be announced on social media.
